What we collect

We do not ask you to create an account on this site, and we do not sell personal information. When you visit, our hosting provider and the services described below may receive standard technical data such as your IP address, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and the site that referred you. This data is used to deliver pages, keep the site secure, and understand which pages readers find useful.

If you sign up to hear when the book is released, that signup happens on cvwooster.com. Your email address is stored by our email provider and used only to send news about C. V. Wooster's books. Every message includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also ask us to delete your address at any time.

Advertising and Google AdSense

This site uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info/choices or, in the European Economic Area and the UK, www.youronlinechoices.eu. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where the law requires consent for advertising cookies, such as in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, ads are served according to the consent choices you make in the consent message shown by Google.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects data such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type. You can block these cookies in your browser settings or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Cookies and your choices

Most browsers let you refuse or delete cookies. If you block cookies, the site will still work, though ads may be less relevant to you.

Children

This site is written for adult readers and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, including California and the European Union, you may have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to opt out of certain sharing. To make a request, email hello@cvwooster.com. We will respond within the time the law requires.
